Masala oats and raw jackfruit365 (JF365) powder porridge

Jackfruit 365 powder is gained wide popularity among people with diabetes. This powder, if consumed a tablespoon daily with meals can help to control the level of sugar in blood. A plus point is that it does not have any side effects, so I too thought why not give it a try. It is almost a month I started having this powder along with food and the benefits are visible. I have my blood sugar level in control now. A lot many methods to include JF365 in food preparation are available in internet, like add a tablespoon of JF365 in dosa mix, idli mix, rice, while making chapati etc. I being the only diabetic in my house, it is not convenient to make the preparation separately for me. So, when thought of including oats in my diet, the idea of mixing masala oats (I don’t like milk and oats porridge without sugar!!!) with JF365 struck my mind. As a sample I prepared the porridge with 2 tablespoons of masala oats and a tablespoon of JF365 powder with one glass of water and that was a perfect one bowl meal for my dinner. Masala Oats and Jackfruit 365 powder porridge

This porridge with 2 tablespoons of instant masala oats and a tablespoon of JF365 powder with one glass of water helps you to regulate the blood sugar level without any side effects. This porridge can be prepared in 10 minutes and serve it warm.

  • 2 tablespoon Masala oats (instant)
  • 1 tablespoon Jackfruit 365 powder (available in Indian supermarkets and online)
  • 1 cup water


  • Mix masala oats and jackfruit 365 powder in a bowl
  • Add water and mix well
  • Let it rest for 15 minutes so that the oats will get soaked properly and gets cooked fast
  • Pour the mix into a saucepan and boil for 5 to 7 minutes
  • Keep stirring to avoid sticking and burning at the sides and bottom of the pan
  • Serve warm and enjoy
